ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik, one of the very best employers

It is only possible to know how your own company stands if you compare it to other companies. Once again, ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik has impressed “TOP JOB”, the nationwide, cross-sector company comparison initiative with a crisis-proof and appropriately successful personnel management scheme, having successfully subjected itself to the St. Gallen assessment procedure headed by Prof. Dr. Heike Bruch. The technology company has been elected one of the best employers in the small to medium-sized sector for the second time. Former German economics minister Wolfgang Clement presented the “TOP JOB” seal of approval on 28.01.2010.
Owing to the difficult economic circumstances experienced this year, many companies did not subject themselves to this strict criteria of the benchmarking procedure by which the qualities of small to medium-sized sector employers are assessed in great detail. Thus, the number of contestants fell drastically to 165. Due to these special circumstances, only 75 seals of approval were awarded, instead of the normal 100, this year.
The essential factor for long term success in personnel policy at ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik is an open company culture that has the employee at its heart, engendering trust and offering perspectives. Ultimately, the employees make up the one and only sustainable competitive advantage a company possesses. And the fact that this is the right way to take the personnel management policy of ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik is yet once more proven by the award of the “TOP JOB” seal of approval.
“Lifelong careers are still a possibility with us”, says Thomas Horz. “If a trainee wishes to study, he remains employed by ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik, he can take a casual job during his semester breaks and his job is there waiting for him once his studies end. As the company supports a research project being carried out at the University of Munich, even employees with a certificate of secondary education have opportunity to try the feel of the campus, which is encouragement to further training.”
