The many promising contacts made with trade visitors from both home and abroad gave proof of their great interest.

Entirely in line with the overarching theme of the Hannover Messe, i.e. “Smart Efficiency”, ZEITLAUF^® antriebstechnik again this year presented innovative and energy saving motor and gearhead concepts. The new stand design, featuring an impressive drive technology showcase, reflected the extensive range of products which puts gearmotor specialist ZEITLAUF^® antriebstechnik right up with the sector’s technological leaders.

With selected applications from the medical technology sector and other strategically significant sectors, ZEITLAUF^® antriebstechnik showed the breadth of the range of drives and the breadth of their output ranges. These drives have been successfully developed according to cost saving and resource saving criteria for years. Our latest technological product highlight – the robust and powerful Performax^® Plus – turned out to be another impressive, powerful gearmotor concept. This planetary gearhead is a technologically outstanding addition to the Performax^® range and completes the circle of output ranges right where particularly high output power is required.

This year, trade visitors could benefit from  ZEITLAUF^® antriebstechnik in many ways. To begin with, drive specialist ZEITLAUF^® took part in the “Technology Tours” for the first time. These theme tours included conducted tours of our trade fair stand for interested visitors, given by trained tour guides. Tour participants were treated to an exclusive presentation of the highlights of medical technology development, with the solutions being explained in detail.

Secondly, Managing Director Thomas Horz made a presentation in the trade fair forum concerning the savings potential resulting from the use of small energy efficient drives in industry, followed by a technical discussion.
