Sollektor

The function of this drive:
Sunlight enables people to work to better effect and enhances the feelgood factor. Sollektor® – an innovative and, above all, efficient system, uses natural sunlight as the source of lighting for interiors. When it comes to developing the viable technologies of tomorrow, gearmotors from ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik are right at the forefront. With its effective optics, Sollektor® collects light from the sun and flexibly conducts it inside the building through optical fibres. Compact and reliable spur gearmotor Flatline 78 performs the task of constantly adjusting the panels to the best angle, thereby making sure max. light is obtained. This is achieved in tune with the latest ecological aspects and is backed up by powerful gearmotors from ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik. High-quality sensors take care of automatically aligning the panels to suit the current sun situation by controlling the gearmotors. The important feature is that the light is conducted at no additional energy consumption.

The most important features of spur gearhead
Flatline 78:

The most important features of the motor (stepper motor):

  • Nominal voltage: 3.15 VDC
  • Nominal rotation speed: 800 U/min.
  • Nominal torque: 0.022  Nm
  • Idle speed: approx. 800  U/min.
  • Protection rating: IP 40

The challenge for this drive:
Flatline 78 spur gearheads from ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik make sure that the sensor controlled collectors on the building stay pointed towards the sun so that light hits them at the best possible angle. This makes optimum use of the light. Compact design and high reductions in a five-stage gearhead at low output speeds are the elementary features that enable Flatline gearmotors to effortlessly perform the function of automatic panel adjustment. Reliable operation regardless of the season is a matter of course for these strong drive units.

Pellet heating appliance

The Compactline 92.3 spur gearhead is built into the lower burner screw of the energy efficient ÖkoFEN Pellematic pellet-fired boiler.

The function of this drive technology:
The Compactline 92.3 spur gearhead is installed in the lower burner screw inside the modern and fully automatic ÖkoFEN PELLEMATIC pellet heating appliance, where it aids in energy efficient operation.

The most important features of the Compactline 92.3 spur gearhead at a glance:

The most important features of condenser motor type KM 4020 f. 230V 50 Hz at a glance:

  • Nominal voltage: 230 V
  • Nominal rotation speed: 2700 min-1
  • Nominal torque: 33 Ncm
  • Nominal current consumption: 0,67 A
  • Nominal power output: 95 W

The challenge:
The special challenge in developing spur gearhead Compactline 92.3 was posed by the many different design requirements. First and foremost was the demand for a compact gearhead motor with high power density, quiet running and unusually efficient, for use in boilers fired using pellets that are as energy efficient as possible and have low associated emission values.

But, alongside these stringent requirements, spur gearhead Compactline 92.3 was required to conform to other criteria. For instance, an important safety aspect was the inclusion of an integrated temperature sensor that monitors the heating system electronically and switches off the gearhead motor in an emergency. Also, brief periods of higher nominal torque are possible. And, last but not least, the complete wiring of the condenser and the motor cable (Plug and Play) makes for user-friendly operation.

ZEITLAUF® antriebstechnik is the innovative manufacturer of compact gear motors, supplying first rate planetary gearheads, spur gearheads and angle gearheads for use in all sectors.
